Yes, our ShieldPlus and ShieldComplete plans cover the parts and components of installed instant hot/cold water dispensers.

We cover all parts and components of installed instant hot/cold water dispensers. The ShieldPlus plan covers up to $4,000 for each covered appliance. The ShieldComplete plan covers up to $7,000 for each covered appliance. And if we can’t repair the covered item, we’ll replace it subject to the limitations and exclusions in your plan agreement. No, we do not cover any freestanding and countertop instant hot/cold water dispensers. We only cover all components and parts of installed instant hot/cold water dispensers that are connected to water lines. 

If we can’t repair your covered installed instant hot/cold water dispenser, we’ll replace it subject to the limitations and exclusions in your plan agreement and remove the defective item.
